Kristen invited over all of her dental hygiene classmates for a house warming/check on everyone party last Friday. We still have a ton of stuff in boxes but it was good timing because it made us pick up some items to make the house a little more presentable.
We figured that we wanted to use the patio because it is the best place in the house to see the sunset so I made a quick set of steps to get from the back yard onto the patio and we bought a small firepit to keep warm around. 
We strung up a couple of strings of Christmas tree lights along the fence and that provided just the perfect amount of light. It was nice to relax for an evening for a change.
Ooooh, love the fire pit for the patio. I bet that was perfect for a cool almost-autumn night.
